SANDY SPRINGS, GA. – On Friday, May 15, Carroll Daniel joined project partners, school leadership, faculty, and students to celebrate a major construction milestone for the new North Springs High School with a topping out ceremony. The event marked the placement of the project’s final structural beam and highlighted the continued progress toward delivering a modern educational environment designed to serve future generations of students.

“This ceremony serves as a celebration of the collaboration and dedication that continue to drive the project forward as we reach this milestone and look ahead to delivering a school that will serve generations of students in the Fulton County School District,” said Zach Nicholson, Vice President and Division Manager of Carroll Daniel.

Replacing the existing campus, the state-of-the-art facility is thoughtfully designed to meet the evolving needs of students, educators, and the surrounding community while creating opportunities for collaboration, innovation, and student success. A three-story classroom wing will house administrative offices, a media center, dining areas, and academic support spaces designed to foster engagement and learning. A second L-shaped wing will accommodate the competition gym, supporting physical education spaces, auditorium, performing arts classrooms, and rehearsal spaces, creating opportunities for students to thrive academically, athletically, and creatively. Designed to accommodate 1,200 students with the flexibility to expand to 1,500 in the future, the facility reflects a long-term investment in the growth of the Fulton County community.

Throughout construction, the existing North Springs High School building has remained operational, allowing students and faculty to continue learning and teaching on campus while the new facility takes shape. Once construction and move-in are complete, the existing building will be demolished to allow for the completion of the remainder of the campus, including the competition stadium, practice field, softball field, and tennis courts.

Carroll Daniel is proud to partner on this transformative project in Fulton County and looks forward to seeing the new North Springs High School campus serve students and the community for years to come.
