CUMMING, GA. – On March 18, Carroll Daniel was honored to join Forsyth County leaders and community members to celebrate the opening of the new Freedom Park Administration Campus in Cumming, Georgia. The milestone was marked with a ribbon cutting ceremony followed by one of two public open houses, giving residents the opportunity to tour the facility before county operations officially moved in.
“Projects like Freedom Park demonstrate what strong partnerships can accomplish,” said David Stone, Executive Vice President at Carroll Daniel Construction. “We’re proud to have worked alongside Forsyth County and the design team to deliver a facility that not only supports today’s operational needs but also positions the county for continued growth and service to its community.”
The new 135,000-square-foot, 4-story administration building will serve as the central hub for Forsyth County government, bringing more than a dozen departments and approximately 335 employees together in one location. Designed to streamline services, the building features a “one-stop” concept that improves the permitting process and enhances the overall experience for residents conducting business with the county. Freedom Park also features a one-mile paved multi-use trail, as well as a non-paved nature trail for public use. The Freedom Park campus was designed with long-term growth in mind, allowing for a future expansion of up to 75,000 square feet while continuing to serve one of Georgia’s fastest-growing communities.
