GREENVILLE, SC. – Construction and Engineering Firm, Carroll Daniel, believes the key to building a community, extends beyond the blueprints, bricks and mortar. Yesterday, Carroll Daniel made a wish come true for a local child, Tatum, and her family through Make-A-Wish South Carolina. Described by Make-A-Wish staff as joyful, imaginative, and resilient, Tatum joined her family, Make-A-Wish SC representatives, and Carroll Daniel at the company’s office on Falcon Crest Drive for the exciting wish reveal – an all expenses paid trip to Walt Disney World® Resort.

Make‑A‑Wish South Carolina grants life-changing wishes to children with critical illnesses, giving them renewed strength, emotional healing, and unforgettable moments with their loved ones. Wishes, like this one, are made possible through community partners, corporate sponsors, and individual donors.

“Supporting Make‑A‑Wish aligns deeply with our commitment to care for our communities and the families who call them home,” said Eldon Gowens, Senior Vice President and Division Manager at Carroll Daniel. “It’s an honor to play a small role in bringing happiness to a child who has faced more challenges than many of us can imagine. We are excited to support Tatum in this special way.”

While Carroll Daniel serves as a national leader in construction and engineering, the firm also has earned a reputation for their deep commitment to service, collectively volunteering over 400 hours of volunteer time last year to organizations like United Way, Rebuild Upstate and Meals on Wheels. The company has been a longtime supporter of the Make-A-Wish Foundation – granting wishes at different office locations and participating for the last six years in the Make-A-Wish Trailblaze Challenge, an endurance event involving hiking 22 miles of trails and raising funds to grant wishes in the process. Most recently, Carroll Daniel’s Greenville team rallied together to fundraise for yesterday’s special grant-a-wish reveal through team events, individual gifts, and employee‑driven initiatives.
