Project Overview

Cobb County selected Carroll Daniel to be the design-builder for major renovations to the existing 40,000-square-foot Public Safety Building, located on a tight urban site in downtown Marietta. Working in close conjunction with Cobb County Sheriff’s Department, the project includes extensive interior renovations and the addition of an elevator and lobby.

Upgrades include advanced security and surveillance systems, updated technology, and reconfigured layouts that improve efficiency for law enforcement, detention operations, staff, and public interaction. Emphasizing durability and sustainability, the renovation will ensure long-term functionality and adaptability, ultimately boosting day-to-day operations while strengthening the county’s ability to meet growing public safety demands.
