The Cobb County Public Safety Department
Continuing our strong relationship with Cobb County, this facility will house the county’s Public Safety Department, employing 1800+ paid personnel serving over 760,000 citizens in an area covering 345 square miles.
Project Overview
Cobb County selected Carroll Daniel to be the design-builder for major renovations to the existing 40,000-square-foot Public Safety Building, located on a tight urban site in downtown Marietta. Working in close conjunction with Cobb County Sheriff’s Department, the project includes extensive interior renovations and the addition of an elevator and lobby.
Building a Safer Tomorrow
The project is designed to modernize Cobb County’s Public Safety Building and enhance operational effectiveness across the facility. Upgrades include advanced security and surveillance systems, updated technology, and reconfigured layouts that improve efficiency for law enforcement, detention operations, staff, and public interaction. Emphasizing durability and sustainability, the renovation will ensure long-term functionality and adaptability, ultimately boosting day-to-day operations while strengthening the county’s ability to meet growing public safety demands.
Partnering Beyond the Build
Each year, Carroll Daniel team members join together to run the First Responders 5k supporting the Cobb County Public Safety Foundation at the Battery. Beyond the camaraderie of the run, our team members embrace the opportunity to express their heartfelt gratitude towards the selfless first responders who tirelessly safeguard the community.
