Carroll Daniel partnered with Lake Lanier Islands to build a Margaritaville-themed lakeside resort and waterpark. The facility attracts tourists and locals alike to indulge in the laid-back atmosphere and enjoy the water attractions.

First Stop, Margaritaville

The Margaritaville at Lake Lanier Islands project involved the transformation of the existing 1500-acre LanierWorld into a Margaritaville-themed lakeside resort and waterpark. The park features a live entertainment stage, fire pits, several eateries and drinking spots, a beach and water park with a play area for kids and weekend events with live performances. The water park has doubled in size, featuring a Family Fun Zone, water slides, a beach volleyball court, and zipline that is 50 feet in the air.

Next Stop: Snow Island

After the initial transformation into Margaritaville, Carroll Daniel was hired to build Snow Island, a seasonal snow tubing attraction. The attraction includes a rider conveyor system to help move the riders and tubes uphill easily. Carroll Daniel has even held company events at Snow Island to try it out!

We’ve been running the property for 12 years, and we’ve brought it a long ways, but we felt like it was time to bring in a new vision and more or less take it to the next level.

A new 60,000 SF, 3-floor boathouse for Lake Lanier Olympic Park to replace the existing boathouse from the 1996 Centennial Olympics.

Lumpkin County Recreation Center

Carroll Daniel continued its partnership with Lumpkin County, Georgia, with the design and construction of a new Lumpkin County Recreation Center – providing a new space for outdoor and indoor sports and recreation options for the entire community to enjoy.
