Construction on Jackson County’s new PreK-12 campus reached an exciting milestone as Carroll Daniel celebrated the topping out of Hoschton High School. The ceremony marked the placement of the final structural beam on the high school portion of the project, bringing the community one step closer to the opening of a transformative new educational campus.
Carroll Daniel welcomed Jackson County Board of Education members, subcontractors, and project partners to the jobsite to commemorate the occasion. Attendees had the opportunity to sign the final beam before it was lifted into place, leaving their mark on a building that will soon serve generations of Jackson County students. Biscuits and coffee were served on site as the project team gathered to recognize the hard work and collaboration that have brought the project to this point.
The 108-acre campus, located in Hoschton, Georgia, will be home to three new schools: Hoschton High School, Sell’s Mill Middle School, and Hayes Elementary School, designed to meet the growing demand for educational space in one of Georgia’s fastest-growing communities.
Hoschton High School and Hayes Elementary School are scheduled to open in Fall 2027, with Sell’s Mill Middle School scheduled to open in Fall 2028. As the project continues to take shape, Carroll Daniel looks forward to celebrating the next milestones and welcoming students into these new learning environments. The final beam is now in place, but the most exciting part is still ahead: building a campus that will help shape the future of Jackson County for years to come.
