Rehabilitating an Old Campus to Fit New Needs

The Lanier Technical College Campus Rehabilitation & Infrastructure project for the University of North Georgia (UNG) Gainesville Campus consisted of a 150,000 SF renovation across four buildings that were part of Lanier Technical College’s previous campus, which was adjacent to UNG Gainesville.

Collaborating closely with design professionals and the University System of Georgia, the Carroll Daniel project team helped develop a budget and identify important items for consideration. A robust schedule with forethought as to progression of crew activities from building-to-building was implemented as well as key areas of early turnover. Due to the efficient coordination of the project team, subcontractor partners, and the owner, the project was completed on-time and under budget.
