Project Overview
Georgia Gwinnett College’s (GGC) Gateway Project includes an 85,000 SF building that will provide seating for 3,000 and multi-use rooms to support learning and collaboration. The new Gateway Center will serve as a sports arena and offer a venue for the school and community to host large-scale events. This much needed infrastructure upgrade also incorporates a central energy plant (CEP) expansion and improved parking facilities to serve both the new center and existing classroom buildings. The CEP will make up 15% of the Gateway Project and supply the chilled water to the HVAC systems for the buildings that surround the GGC Lawn.
Efficiency through Expertise
To optimize project efficiency, reduce rework, and enhance collaboration among project stakeholders, Carroll Daniel’s Virtual Design and Construction (VDC) team is completing Building Information Modeling (BIM) for the GGC Gateway project. By harnessing cutting-edge technology, our VDC team is able to create a digital framework that ensures an efficient project from start to completion.
