New Developments in an Evolving Neighborhood

Carroll Daniel was selected to build a new 18,000 SF retail/restaurant development on a two-acre parcel in the growing area of New Holland in Gainesville, Georgia. Located near recreational centers, medical facilities, schools, retail and restaurants, this plaza provides new space for both national and local establishments to serve the expanding community.

New Holland

Design Features

The plaza features timeless Nichiha brick architectural wall panels for the storefronts. For the exterior walls, concrete masonry unit and cold-formed metal framing were used, and an Exterior Insulation Finishing System façade insulates and waterproofs the space. To maximize the client’s budget, metal and Thermoplastic Polyolefin (TPO) — single-ply roofing membranes used to cover flat roofs — were chosen for the roofing component. The plaza was constructed on a tight 9-month schedule.
