Mission Accomplished: A School Built for the Future
Designed to support future growth, the new Mission Road Elementary School serves 550 students, with space to accommodate 250 more through planned classroom wing expansions. The approximately 103,000-square-foot facility reflects a forward-thinking approach to education—balancing functionality and flexibility to meet the evolving needs of the Bartow County community. Thoughtful features such as a custom-built reading stair in the media center and two age-appropriate playgrounds enhance both learning and play.
Piecing Together Progress
Mission Road Elementary School was built using more than 160 precast concrete panels. The panels were manufactured by Metromont Corporation off-site and installed at a pace of 6–8 panels per day, allowing for a faster, more efficient construction timeline while offering durability, design flexibility, and the added benefit of enhanced safety.
Built with Care, Delivered with Precision
Construction of the new Mission Road Elementary School took place on an active campus and followed a carefully coordinated schedule. Sitework—including new parking lots, underground utilities, and detention ponds—could not begin until the existing school was demolished following the end of the academic year. Despite these constraints, the project was delivered successfully and ahead of schedule, providing a dynamic new learning environment for Bartow County students.
With construction happening during school hours, the Carroll Daniel team coordinated heavily and stayed engaged with the school—hosting teacher breakfasts, classroom talks, scavenger hunts, and other activities to connect with Mission Road students and staff.
