Building on a Proven Partnership

Carroll Daniel’s partnership with Kubota Manufacturing of America spans multiple transformative projects across its Gainesville, Georgia campus, including a state-of-the-art Research and Development facility and a renovated training center. Building on this strong foundation, Carroll Daniel was selected to deliver the Kubota Loader Facility, a landmark, multi-phase design-build project located at the Gateway Industrial Centre. The nearly 700,000-square-foot facility includes a two-story office component, with the remaining space dedicated to highly specialized welding, manufacturing, painting, and assembly operations, along with a rear-load dock supporting efficient inbound and outbound logistics.

Designed for Performance at Every Turn

Delivered through a phased approach, the project began with comprehensive site development, including infrastructure such as utilities, paving, lighting, and a standby generator to support critical paint shop operations. The facility itself features a conventional steel frame with insulated precast concrete wall panels and a flexible membrane roofing system.

Driving Innovation, Efficiency, and Sustainability

This highly automated facility positions Kubota to assemble more than 170,000 units annually, representing a significant investment in innovation and operational excellence.

A 125,000-square-foot paint area incorporates specialized spill-containment systems to support complex processes, while advanced automation (including robotic welding) enhances safety, quality, and production efficiency.

Sustainability also played a key role, with rooftop solar panels contributing clean energy and supporting Kubota’s “For Earth, For Life” vision. Together, these efforts ensure the facility will serve both Kubota and the surrounding community for years to come.

Award-Winning Results for a State-of-the-Art Facility

Serving as the design-builder and single source of accountability, Carroll Daniel led a highly collaborative effort with the client, design team, and project partners to bring this advanced facility to life. This commitment to innovation, quality, and teamwork was recognized with a Design-Build Institute of America Southeast Project Award, underscoring the strength of the partnership and the project’s overall success.

Kubota Manufacturing of America was very pleased with the professional and driven team at Carroll Daniel and their commitment to collaborate with our staff to bring the project to a successful conclusion.
