An Empowering Project
Carroll Daniel Construction was selected to build a safe, secure residential development for Just People, Inc., a private non-profit that provides support services to adults with developmental disabilities. This 21-acre community in Hall County, Georgia serves developmentally disabled adults, with four large apartment buildings to accommodate new members. The project consisted of 84 apartment units with more than 100 beds, built utilizing stick-frame construction. In addition, the back portion of the development includes a town hall that incorporates a full commercial kitchen and dining hall, theater, and a bike trail that runs the perimeter of the complex.
Ahead of Schedule, Beyond Expectations
Utilizing the latest in digital construction tools, our team approached the project with safety and quality always at the forefront of every decision. Despite challenges encountered during the construction process, this approach coupled with the dedication of our safety and field staff allowed the community to be completed three months ahead of schedule with no compromises on safety or quality. As a result of the project team’s commitment to safety, quality, and the client, Just People Village III earned a First Place Build Georgia Award.
