The Impact of a Project Resonates

There are over 1,500 students who attend Reinhardt University, and twenty percent of those students are involved in the university’s music and theater programs. For many years the music and theater programs were spread across the campus, however this new 19,238 SF, 330-seat theater has brought the program together, offering more collaboration, technological resources and creativity between the departments. This facility now includes a green room, scene shop, box office, performance studio and media classroom for the students on campus.

Executing Our Clients’ Visions

The building is part of an “Arts Around the Lake” program that former Reinhardt University President, Dr. Kina Mallard, envisioned. She planned for the University to become a destination for learning, arts, faith and culture. A glass conservatory is included on the rear of the structure overlooking the lake as a reminder and tribute to the namesake of the program, and as an inspirational focal point on campus.

The Carroll Daniel team impressed us with their diligence in maintaining the safety of our campus during construction, and they did not interfere with the flow of students or campus activities.
