Carroll Daniel Construction took home the top award in its project category at the Associated Builders and Contractors (ABC) of Georgia’s 2022 Excellence in Construction and Safety Awards this past week.

Carroll Daniel’s first ever project entry with ABC Georgia garnered an Excellence Award in the General Contractor, Institutional category, in the $25 to $50 million price category. The new Jackson County High School was the highest-scoring project in its category, earning top honors from the judges representing the construction industry. Completed by the Carroll Daniel project team in May of 2021, the new 250,000 SF school replaced the 30-year-old Jackson County Comprehensive High School.

Also at the gala, the Carroll Daniel Safety Team, led by Safety Director Robbie Pope, was commended for achieving SILVER level in ABC’s Safety Training Evaluation Process (STEP).

The Project and Safety Teams and Carroll Daniel President & CEO Brian Daniel received the recognitions on Thursday evening, June 23, 2022 at ABC Georgia’s gala at The Fox Theater.

“The entire Carroll Daniel team is honored to be recognized by its peers at ABC Georgia, from both project and safety perspectives,” Daniel said. “Our team will always strive for excellence – for our clients, employees and the communities we work in.”
