A Modern Campus for a Growing Community

As part of a broader initiative to enhance educational facilities across the district, Hall County Schools selected Carroll Daniel to build its second replacement elementary school—Everwood Elementary School.

This over 100,000-square-foot facility was thoughtfully designed to replace Oakwood Elementary and McEver Arts Academy, uniting both school communities under one roof.

The result is a larger, more modern learning environment that supports the needs of students, teachers, and staff while accommodating future growth.

Two Legacies, One New Beginning

Everwood Elementary features contemporary learning spaces and specialized program areas, including a state-of-the-art culinary arts lab. The campus design honors the legacy of both former schools, incorporating their signature colors and creating a sense of continuity for returning students and staff.

“We are incredibly excited about the creation of Everwood Elementary. Both Oakwood Elementary and McEver Arts Academy have rich traditions, legacies, and a history of excellence and innovation. The merging of these two schools will bring together the best of both, creating an even stronger community for our students.”
Will Schofield
Superintendent, Hall County School District
