DECATUR, GA. – On Friday, July 18th, Carroll Daniel proudly joined DeKalb Brilliance Academy (DBA) for a ribbon cutting ceremony to celebrate the completion of their new state-of-the-art campus. This milestone marks the beginning of an exciting chapter for DBA as they expand their mission of educational excellence. With this new space, DBA will expand its program from serving K–4 students to offering a full K–8 curriculum, increasing its capacity to enroll up to 700 students.

The event welcomed community members, students, and staff to commemorate the occasion. Carroll Daniel’s project team led guided tours of the new facility, and attendees heard inspiring remarks from school leadership and partners. Jocelyn Alter, DBA Co-founder and Head of School, shared during the ceremony, “Thank you to the incredible Carroll Daniel team who put every nail into this beautiful building.”

The new 68,300-square-foot facility represents a $12.6 million investment in the future of education in DeKalb County. Carroll Daniel broke ground on the project in December 2024 and reached substantial completion in June 2025. The new campus features 36 modern classrooms, 4 fully equipped science labs, and a layout tailored to support a dynamic K-8 learning environment.

Carroll Daniel is proud to have played a role in bringing this vision to life and supporting DeKalb Brilliance Academy in its continued commitment to empowering students through high-quality education. We look forward to seeing the lasting impact this new facility will have on students, educators, and the DeKalb community.
