Carroll Daniel Construction Company is expanding its business, opening up a new office location in downtown Greenville, South Carolina. Current South Carolina native, and experienced construction professional, Eldon Gowens, has joined the team to lead the expansion efforts and champion the opening of the new location.
As Vice President and Division Manager, Gowens’ role at Carroll Daniel will focus on all aspects of successful delivery of divisional performance and sustainable growth of the business. Gowens will work in Carroll Daniel’s new Greenville office location, which was recently opened to achieve the strategic goals of the business. Carroll Daniel’s Greenville team will build both private and public projects, with a particular focus on industrial markets.

Gowen’s experience in the construction industry spans over 25 years, managing construction projects and construction business development for some of the biggest names in the industrial marketplace. His past experience falls heavily in the manufacturing, automotive, paper, packaging, film, and building products markets. Gowens most recently served as Strategic Business Unit Leader for O’Neal Incorporated prior to assuming the role of Vice President and Division Manager at Carroll Daniel Construction.
Gowens earned his Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Auburn University. He currently resides in Greenville and enjoys golfing, skiing and traveling in his spare time.
