Carroll Daniel is dedicated to building the next generation of our workforce. One of our key focus areas is fostering early interest in the skilled trades, introducing high school students to rewarding career paths and hands-on learning opportunities that prepare them for long-term success in the Architecture, Engineering, and Construction (AEC) industry.

Each year, Carroll Daniel hosts the Northeast Georgia (NEGA) Skills Challenge in partnership with the Associated General Contractors (AGC) of Georgia and other AGC member contracting firms. The event provides students the opportunity to showcase their skills, connect with industry professionals, and earn technical training scholarships or job offers from participating organizations.

The NEGA Skills Challenge is one of eight regional competitions held across the state annually and serves as a qualifier for five core construction competitions that advance to the SkillsUSA Georgia State Leadership & Skills Conference: Carpentry, Electrical, Masonry, Plumbing, and Welding.
