Building a New Learning Environment
Carroll Daniel partnered with the Jackson County School District to build the new Jackson County High School (JCHS), a two-story 250,000 SF replacement school that serves over 1,500 students. The large-scale, modern high school includes an athletic complex with baseball and softball facilities, a football stadium with artificial turf, a field house and tennis courts.
An Award-Winning School
Carroll Daniel stepped up to the challenge of taking on this project 10 months in, after the previous CM was terminated by the owner. A strong preconstruction and project management effort brought the project back into budget and moving forward, despite the added challenges of adverse weather and the COVID-19 pandemic. The project was completed ahead of schedule, on budget and with zero lost time accidents. For their exceptional work on this project, the Carroll Daniel project team was awarded three awards.
