On May 18, Carroll Daniel joined MARTA, project partners, and community leaders to celebrate the ribbon cutting for the newly completed pedestrian bridge and station rehabilitation at Indian Creek Station in DeKalb County, Georgia.

“Carroll Daniel is truly honored to be part of this moment and proud to stand alongside our joint venture partner C.D. Moody Construction in helping bring MARTA’s vision to life. Today is about more than opening a pedestrian bridge. It’s about creating stronger connections, expanding opportunities, and celebrating what is possible when great partners come together with a commitment to community,” said Sherry Werner, Project Executive at Carroll Daniel.

Delivered by Carroll Daniel | Moody, A Joint Venture, the project is part of MARTA’s ongoing Station Rehabilitation Program focused on improving accessibility, safety, and rider experience across the transit system. The improvements at Indian Creek Station included a new pedestrian bridge connection to Durham Park Road, upgraded station finishes, enhanced lighting and signage, plaza and platform improvements, and site enhancements designed to better serve the surrounding community.

The project team remained committed to maintaining safe station operations throughout construction while delivering meaningful infrastructure upgrades that will support MARTA riders for years to come.

The ribbon cutting marked an important milestone for both MARTA and the project team, celebrating the successful completion of improvements that enhance connectivity, accessibility, and the overall passenger experience at Indian Creek Station.
