Brian Daniel, LEED AP - President

Brian has 15 years of industry experience and holds a BS in Business Administration from Auburn University, and a MS in Building Construction from Southern Polytechnic State University. As President of Carroll Daniel Construction Company, Brian plays an active role in every aspect of the business. Responsibilities include corporate operations, business development, and maintaining an active role in each project from preconstruction through project closeout. He is a member of First Baptist Church of Gainesville and is affiliated with a number of community and business organizations. He is a Director of Chattahoochee Bank of Georgia, a Trustee of Riverside Military Academy, a Board Member of the Greater Hall Chamber of Commerce, past Board Member of the Georgia Branch of the Associated General Contractors and Board Member of the United Way of Hall County. He is a graduate of Leadership Hall County and is active in the Gainesville Kiwanis Club.

Steve Hix, LEED Green Associate
 - Vice President & Project Executive

Steve has 24 years of industry experience and holds a BS in Building Construction from Auburn University. He has managed a wide variety projects during his career, and has extensive experience in K-12 Education, Retail, Municipal, Office, Religious and Medical facilities. Steve's portfolio includes numerous new construction projects, multi phased additions and renovations and work on occupied campuses. He is responsible for managing projects from the preconstruction phase to final completion. As a team leader, Steve will monitor time, cost & quality throughout the construction process.

Scott Oberschlake - Chief Financial Officer

Scott brings 15 years of construction accounting experience to the team. Scott has an MBA from the University of Georgia's Terry College of Business and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Accounting from Ohio Wesleyan University. Scott manages all aspects of the company's accounting including financial reporting, project accounting, investments, budgeting, and payroll.  Scott also manages human resources, insurance and multi-state compliance.  Scott is a member of Construction Financial Management Association (CFMA) and Beta Gamma Sigma, an international honor society.

Jimmy Sexton - Senior Estimator & Preconstruction Director

Jimmy has over 40 years of industry experience and holds a BS in Civil Engineering Technology from Southern Polytechnic State University. His extensive experience in budgeting, value engineering, and subcontractor selection are an invaluable asset on any project. His ability to produce a timely and accurate budget is proven, and thoroughness and problem solving ability are unmatched. With the sharp skill, solid work ethic, and attention to detail of Jimmy Sexton, Carroll Daniel clients are assured of the most reliable Preconstruction Services in the business.

Greg Cook - Estimator

Greg has 7 years of industry experience and holds a BS in Construction Management from Southern Polytechnic State University. Greg's experience with quantity surveys, estimating systems and subcontractor and vendor relationships will be a significant asset to the project. He is a critical member of the preconstruction team and continues to add value to the construction process through out the life of the project.

 - Project Manager

Ashley has been with Carroll Daniel for 5 years and  has 14 years of industry experience. Ashley holds a BS in Civil Engineering from Auburn University. She is responsible for managing projects from preconstruction to closeout. An experienced leader specializing in complex projects, Ashley delivers responsiveness and attention to detail to every project.

Henry Irvin - Project Manager

Henry has worked for Carroll Daniel for 7 years and has 16 years of overall experience in the industry. He holds a BS in Construction Management from Southern Polytechnic State University. Henry is directly responsible for the management of projects from preconstruction through closeout. Henry has an excellent record of project performance. Henry has won three Build Georgia Awards for education projects. Accelerated schedule adaptations were utilized on the Construction Management delivery for Lakeview Academy and for the traditional Design Bid Build delivery of Chesney Elementary School, both of which resulted in tremendous time savings. Sustainable design elements were incorporated into the Design Build of Brenau University’s Occupationally Therapy.
 Henry is involved in the Georgia Branch of the Associated General Contractors as a member of the Young Leaders Society.

 - Project Manager

John has worked for Carroll Daniel for 3 years and has 16 years of industry experience with a BS in Building Construction from the Georgia Institute of Technology. As a project manager, John will be responsible for managing the project throughout the entire construction process.  Focused on specialized markets and business development, John's knowledge and managment style is a tremendous asset to the team.  He is active in the Greater Hall Chamber of Commerce as a member of Leadership Hall.
