News & UpdatesJune 14, 2010 Carroll Daniel Wins 2010 Build Georgia Award Carroll Daniel Construction Company was was awarded a 2010 Build Georgia Award for Chesney Elementary School, a Gwinnett County facility that was completed almost a year ahead of schedule. Winners for this year's Awards were announced at the Georgia Branch Associated General Contractors Annual Convention on June 8, 2010 in Hilton Head, SC. June 05, 2010 Work at GSMST Nears Completion The Gwinnett School of Mathematics, Science, and Technology is a 360,000 Sqft charter high school for Gwinnett County Schools designed by HGBD Architects. The facility is a high tech educational space with an orchestra hall, sound rooms, twelve university level science laboratories, choral room, TV production, media center, and several lecture halls. The project included demolition of 110,000 SF in the interior of the old Benefield Elementary School and a 5 story, 250,000 SF new building. May 31, 2010 Work Begins at New Occupational Therapy Facility for Brenau University Work Begins at New Occupational Therapy Facility for Brenau University at the Featherbone Communiversity in Gainesville, GA. The facility will provide 20,000sf of much needed education space for this growing program. |
